8 Days: To The Moon And Back

Dramatic reconstruction, declassified astronaut cockpit audio, film archives, and the latest immersive VFX — 8 Days is the untold story of the first moon landing.

The environments were constructed using a combination of specially shot material, procedural VFX and CG modelling. The processes included augmented moon surfaces visualised through helmet cams, zero gravity objects, views of Earth and Moon from both Command and Lunar modules, Lunar Module manoeuverings, CGI buttons and dials within the cockpits.

The Apollo 11 Flight Plan was meticulously studied to ensure that the CGI elements were factually accurate.
