RTS West of England Awards 2025

Sunday saw the return of the RTS West of England Awards at Bristol Old Vic theatre. We had two award nominations, both in the VFX and Digital Creativity category for The Manhattan Alien Abduction and Solar System. 

The night started with an award nominees drinks reception before the ceremony got underway. Hosted by award winning comedian and podcast host Stuart Goldsmith, the night was great fun and everyone loved seeing all the amazing creative talent in the South West being recognised. The crowning moment of the night was finding out we had won with Solar System, the whole LAVFX contingent got up on stage to collect the award with Director Rob Hifle giving a speech thanking the team for all their hard work and emphasising how everyone plays their part in creating a successful project. After a few celebratory drinks it was time to call it a night with the trophy safely making its way back to the Lux Aeterna office. Here’s to next year!
