Junior Creative Technologist

Lux Aeterna, a pioneering Visual Effects (VFX) company, is seeking a passionate and innovative Junior Creative Technologist to join our dynamic team in Bristol.

Location: Bristol, UK

Job Type: Full-time 3-month contract with immediate start following interview in January 2024

Salary: £24,000 - £30,000 p.a. depending on experience

The ideal candidate will have:

  • • A keen interest and understanding of generative AI and its potential in the VFX industry.

  • • Experience working with game engines such as Unreal and Unity.

  • • A background in visual arts, design, or media, with a flair for creative thinking.

  • • A proactive approach to learning and adopting new technologies.

  • • Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a creative team environment.

Responsibilities in the role:

  • As a Junior Creative Technologist, you will play a crucial role in researching and developing new tools and processes to enhance our VFX capabilities. 

  • • Actively engaging with the latest developments in AI, exploring its applications in VFX.

  • • Utilizing advanced tools and technologies, particularly the Unreal Engine, to push the boundaries of visual effects.

  • • Collaborating closely with our Senior Creative Technologist in conducting R&D for client projects.

  • • Participating in creative planning sessions to contribute innovative ideas for project development.
