An Update on RENO, Our Forthcoming Short Film

Introducing some stunning artwork for our first short film - RENO - directed by Rob Hifle and written by Abiola Ogunbiyi. Starring Sophia Brown (The Witcher: Blood Origin, Giri/Haji, The Capture) in the lead role, RENO started life four years ago, developing into a pioneering project that has harnessed virtual production and emerging technologies to approach film making in a new way.

With an unnerving, dystopian story at its heart, RENO develops our studio's work in drama and is currently being shared with a number of film festivals. We'll also be talking about the unique way RENO was filmed and produced at conferences and events in the coming months, including the upcoming FMX conference in May, where we’ll discuss how we re-engineered our pipeline for a newly opened virtual production stage, how environments were designed for in-camera capture, and how tools such as Gaussian splat scanning, automated rotoscoping and marker removal streamlined production.
